Obby - Playground Hardcore Challenge is a 3D platforming video game developed by an independent studio. The game is set within a vibrant, obstacle-filled playground environment. Players control a customizable avatar tasked with navigating a series of increasingly difficult linear courses. The primary objective is to reach the end of each level without falling into hazards such as lava, spikes, or bottomless pits. The game features a checkpoint system that saves progress at specific intervals. Failure resets the player to the last activated checkpoint. The game includes a leaderboard system tracking completion times and a cosmetic shop for avatar customization.

Gameplay mechanics are based on precise movement and timing. The player character possesses a single jump and a double jump ability. Movement is restricted to forward, backward, left, and right directions. Operation controls are as follows: the W key moves the character forward, the S key moves backward, the A key moves left, and the D key moves right. The Spacebar executes a jump; pressing it again while airborne performs a double jump. The left mouse button is used for menu navigation and interaction. Tactical techniques include using the double jump at the apex of the first jump to gain maximum height. Players should strafe (using A or D) to adjust landing position on narrow platforms. For moving obstacles, timing the jump to land on the platform as it reaches its closest point to the player is critical. Crouching (default key: Left Ctrl) reduces the character's hitbox, allowing passage under low barriers. Wall jumping is not supported.
