Eclipse Run 3 is an endless runner video game developed by Void Pixel Studios, released in 2023 for mobile platforms and PC. The game is set in a procedurally generated lunar landscape under a perpetual solar eclipse. The player controls a character known as the Runner, who must traverse a collapsing bridge system while avoiding obstacles and collecting energy orbs. The visual aesthetic employs a monochromatic palette with neon accents, emphasizing silhouette-based environmental hazards. The game features a dynamic difficulty system that increases obstacle density and speed based on the player’s distance traveled. A leaderboard system tracks high scores, and unlockable cosmetic skins for the Runner are earned through milestone achievements.

Gameplay mechanics are based on three-dimensional forward movement along a single lane. The Runner automatically runs forward. Player input controls lateral movement, jumping, and sliding. On touchscreen devices, swiping left or right shifts the Runner one lane horizontally. Swiping upward triggers a jump, and swiping downward initiates a slide. On keyboard and mouse setups, the A and D keys control left and right lane changes. The W key performs a jump, and the S key executes a slide. A spacebar input also triggers a jump. Obstacles include low barriers requiring jumps, overhead beams requiring slides, and gaps in the bridge requiring precise lane changes. Energy orbs grant a temporary speed boost and increase the score multiplier by 0.5x per orb collected, up to a maximum of 5x. Tactical techniques include chaining orb collections to maintain the multiplier and using the slide input immediately after landing from a jump to clear consecutive low and high obstacles. The game ends upon collision with any obstacle or falling into a gap.
